A flyer was originally designed for this step show that was black, white, other shades of grey, and lacked the pop that the client wanted. Upon looking at the original draft of the poster I asked if they wouldn’t mind if I showed them my spin on it. After reviewing previous year marketing that was vibrant and grungy and I decided to follow that style.
My main objective was to create something that would pop; something much different from the other flyer’s and posters that were seen on the campus and would make students stop and grab their attention. I went with loud colors and a series of unique fonts to help me achieve my goal of attention grabbing. On a side note this was one of the very first projects that I ever did in the design world and spurred me into the world of design and development.
